Re: HFL Division 1 (Central)
Is there still a site for clearances in, out and around the Hills League?

Does anyone know why this is? Do clearances not get applied for through playhq like they did with SportingPulse?Barkeroo wrote:redsox wrote:Is there still a site for clearances in, out and around the Hills League?

Is it an executive decision to keep fans in the dark? (Talking across the board not just hills). What possible justification could there be?

Yep this.
I think they literally didn't even think of being able to see clearances in as a feature.

Re: HFL Division 1 (Central)
We played Meadows. Was meant to be 6 quarters (3 B Grade, 3 A Grade) but they were pretty short for numbers so it got shortened to 5 qtrs.
Meadows would have won the 2 qtrs but that was their A/B Grade against what was a part B/C Grade team from us. Once our A Grade came out after 2 qtrs I think they we wouldve been winning but tbh I wasn't paying too much attention as I was busy talking to people etc.

Re: HFL Division 1 (Central)
I know you should always take trial results with a grain of salt. But Ironbank losing to a D5 ammo side doesn’t give much confidence to them coming up to Div 1. Especially when Hahndorf played scotch (D3 admittedly) and won by well over 20 goals and I think kept them scoreless.. But good luck to them, hopefully they can hang on and see a steady improvement over the first few years.

Re: HFL Division 1 (Central)
Onkas beat Encounter bay by 10+ goals, Mount Barker played Barossa Districts at Williamstown, Nairne beat Imperials in the bridge by 100+ apparently.

Re: HFL Division 1 (Central)
How did your boys go in the Barossa Barkeroo?
After watching Hahndorf use Scotch OC as witches hats I’d imagine they would have done a pretty good job on Morphett Vale too. Maybe the fire is back after the nail biter last year.

Re: HFL Division 1 (Central)
I see on the Hahndorf FB page, they apparently did over Morphett Vale by around 7/8 goals. I have heard that they think on paper their team is stronger this year than last year with a few key ins, including past players Tripodi, Babidge, Jaensch, Male and Trenorden and Landers from Uri (with Nykamp off to Uri). Time will tell, only 5 sleeps to go and the season is underway!

Only 4 sleeps for Onkas & Mt Barker A grades, playing Friday night under lights with the rest of the grades on Saturday

Nobody will get close to Hahndorf this year with there Ins. Rest of comp should be very even with Ironbank/Bridgey a bit of an unknown.

Hahndorf will murder everyone. The inclusions on what they had last year will make the gap too big again.
