You're just as ignorant there as you say I am. I just want to know why there's so much opposition; I can see there's opposition to anything outside your league. I'm not looking down or taking piss - I'm interested in the process. Got the wrong person to answer I suppose.
Angle Vale has moved their president, Paul Healey on. Trevor Spong has taken over. Claims to be committed to the APFL application.
United have apparently not re-appointed Richard Crewdson. I did hear earlier this year Kriston Thompson was looking to coach the Tigers.
Do we know what the key conditions are that the APFL board has laid out for Angle Vale? I assume some relate to fielding a certain number of netball teams?
I hope Crewy's sake he was given plenty of notice to allow him to apply for other positions. As an outsider looking in I would say he is pretty stiff to be getting moved on, especially after the run of injuries the tigers had in 2015.
I don't believe those conditions have been confirmed yet. And netball teams are not even being considered according to the latest discussions. This is solely a footy decision.
x2 on Crewy. Pretty unlucky with how all that unfolded. That's the gig though I guess

The question is, will there be any players left at AV? When they went up to D6 and the competition got a little harder, half their players left or watched from the sidelines. Is history going to repeat itself?
I have it on good authority that Angle Vale are only taking there A and B grade to APFL. No netball or junior football sides will be going over at all. The plan is to bank the gate keepings from the first year then spend on players and eventually when they've turned in to a strong club take netball and juniors over.
Not sure how much they'll think they'll make on the gate. Supporters will get sick of 40+ goal hammerings every week real quick. It's a very bold move to say the least.

Are Angle Vale treating this as a joke or something? Norm have you got an explanation for that?
surely there is enough doubt about angel vale to put motion in by todays deadline to change decision. i know we are def against it by reading producer. lets not let the threats of resingations alter decisions. need to do whats best for our clubs and not rush. plus with the changes coming from sanfl in 2 years we will get two more teams in our comp anyway.
interesting by tigers if true. anyone know kreigs history? never heard a thing about him.
