Returns to Glenelg.
Was told under the Massie regime he wasn't at League level.
Is a genuine nice guy and passionate bloke on the field.

Sounds like a bloke we had last year who was told don't bother turning up next year. At worst provides depth and an experienced voice for the younguns coming on.

I am surprised that he had been at Glenelg before. I know that he comes from the Bay area but his family have always been keen North supporters and in fact his father is the NAFC President. I know that Michael is good friends of Alex Barns and I believe that Michael played a role in getting Barns to North. There is a nice photo of Michael and Alex embracing on the ground after North's Grand Final win.
To be perfectly honest, I don't think he is quite at league standard. He did play 30 odd games for North but as hard as he tried his disposal wasn't good at all.
I could well be proved wrong. This time last year I predicted that Nick Amato could do huge things at the Bay but apart from a last quarter against North, Amato was a failure at Glenelg and quit the club.

Will cost Centrals $30,000 in transfer fees to Glenelg.
I heard from his brother that he had signed up again for Woodville South.

Leopards don’t change their spots.

What he said
Has all the talent in the world but that only gets you so far.
I’d be surprised if he even plays a league game before quitting/sacked.
Reckon he only has one game suspension to get and he is banned for life. Way too risky getting him. No coach can stop someone with his discipline. He will snap and some point and that will be career over. Absolutely crazy by Dogs!
That would be his brother.
Sturt Premiership player Byron Sumner has one more game to go I believe. Timmy has 5 games to go I believe
Tim has 1 more game until he is banned

and you're correct, two reserves players who, despite having HEAPS of talent, couldn't make it consistently at league level, Templeton mainly due to persistent injuries.

Jack Hannath is a big loss despite what all the Roy lovers will say. Lost Fort and recruited 3 ruckman who i think are lesser players than Hannath. Templeton never really given a shot at league level as a midfielder.

Unfortunately Hannath had plenty of opportunities but just didn't perform!
Templeton is a gun, when fit, decided it's time to go from the rigours of SANFL training & who can blame him!

Not sure he decided - more told there's no chance of league footy so moved himself on.

Fair comment.
Big Jack was very skilled but lacked the grunt that Roy loves.
Temps.... definitely showed something as a big-bodied mid in the reserves, and that was an area of weakness in the league ranks. When Temps did get a league call up he was played up forward where he has never really taken the opportunity. Seemed to be dealt a rough serve but two SANFL Clubs now have deemed that he may well be one of those players who is too good for Ressies but not good enough for league. He is a solid unit who ploughs through the Ressie youngsters, but seems to be caught out at league level where maybe his decision-making can let him down.

Tim's son, bit taller than Dad at about 184cm, plays half back, runs all day and ball use is fair to good. Certainly won't leave you wanting him to show more effort, gives his all.
