1 - Milan (Have only got stronger in all area's except attack where they have kept what they had, but only 4/5 strikers means everyone needs to stay fit)
2 - Napoli (i have just become pels favorite person on this site, however napoli havent lost anyone and only made the squad stronger than last season)
3 - Juve (will take time to gel, but tremendous pick ups)
4 - Lazio (have improved up front very well and should of finished here last season)
5 - Inter (chop and changing of coaches has its effects they are still a good side and will push on all 3 fronts, just think they will start bringing in players for the long term)
6 -Roma (squad will take time to gel and to work under enriquie's new system)
7 - Udine (still have to recoup from the 3 stars they sold in the off season)

now I think between Milan and Udine there will be no more than 15 points.

Juve opened the new Delle Alpi last night with 1-1 draw against Notts County, Not strong opposition but they are a big part of Juve's heritage and by the time they scored Juve had made about 15 subs. Stadium looks great and a very lavish opening ceremony, everyone is up and about so hopefully it translates into a solid opening to the season.

Juve to knock off Parma 2-0 to get things rolling.

I would of liked to of got Rossi and we get of been massive challengers hopefully in January or in the summer

Milan have to be Favs to win the scudetto but from 2-7 is anyones guess and will be very tight.
Looking forward to an exciting season
Cesena away on Sat night and then Man City away on Thursday morning, not much sleep is going to be had

Milan 2-2 Lazio. Not bad away from home and even better that Klose and Cisse scored on there league debut's. Lazio where 2-0 up after 18 mintues, Klose after 11 and Cisse after 18, it also helped that Nesta thought he was still Lazio's captian for the first 20 minuts. In the next 15 threw that away and by the 33rd minute Milan had made it 2-2 with goals through Ibrahimovich after 29 and ex-gypsy himself Cassano after the 33rd. Then second half dried up with both sides having a few half chances, but both deffences had sorted themselfs out and both teams deserved there point.

Disapointed Lazio threw away a 2 goal lead, but happy they eventually sorted themselfs out and its not every week you will have to play the reigning champs at there own ground, if Lazio keep playing like this all season they will find themselfs pushing for a champions league spot and Milan still look like they will be too strong for most teams, however I still feel between 1-7 there will only be a small margin and it does look like we will have a good season ahead for the serie a.

Just saw the highlights of the lazio Milan match and both teams scored some amazing goals. Mauri's ball to Klose and that first touch were simply world class. no defender would have stopped that. Aquilani might be a good fit for Milan with 2 hardworking mids next to him, great ball for Cassano who then set up Ibra. Lazio could have stolen the win late but Nestas intervention was amazing. Great start to the season.

Pandev has claims for the miss of the season already and Hamsik scored a cracker at the end after he started on the bench

Thought Cesena showed enough promise not to be whipping boys this season, the send off was a huge turning point for me, to get 2 yellows in 3 minutes was disastrous. Napoli really asserted their authority with the numerical advantage. Hamsiks goal was a scorcher.

Saw the highlights of the Palermo v Inter match, Inter are an absolute rabble, their system was ordinary and they had guys playing out of position. Their midfield was ordinary and their defense was a shambles. Only early I know but if thats what they are going to serve up against a side who will finish in the bottom half then they are in trouble.

Wont get far at all with Gasparini in charge, never did anything with Genoa so how could he produce the goods with Inter?? will struggle big time in Europe with the same old squad and playing 3 at the back which none of their defenders have done before. will be great to them struggle this season after having a free run post-calciopoli

Inter towelled up by Novara 3-1. Inter were pathetic once again, they look disjointed and disinterested. Absolute rabble, my money on Gasparini to be the first manager sacked. The side they had out on the park should easily account for a newly promoted side and they will argue about the send off but the fact is they were 1-0 down at the time. Pretty hectic final 5 minutes with 3 goals scored

The big guns all dropped points today. Milan and Juve both drawing their matches and Napoli going down to Chievo. Chievo are an interesting side, i think they play better against the good sides than what they do against sides similar in skill to themselves

We seem to struggle with Chievo away every year, didn't help that Cavini, Lavezzi & Hamsik all started on the bench.
Any game away from home in Serie A is tough.

A useless manager who has never won a thing in his entire career. Inter will struggle to qualify for the Europa league this season! hired a worse manager then the previous one and havent bought any decent new players to help the old heads.

3 games in and i still cant believe Milan let Pirlo go to Juve for FREE. He is only 32 and looks to be revitalised by his change of scenery. his vision and range of passing is still second to none, 3 assists in 3 already. hope he doesnt miss too many matches cos hes still world class.

Take it easy about a return to the good old days Jim, I liked the way they have been performing the last couple of seasons better
