Sucking back a Pirate Life lager can while I wait for the indian take-away. It's a bit on the plain side. Last week I tried a "Hughie" lager from somewhere in NSW, and that really hit the spot. Was just hoppy enough to have a bit of taste while being lager-y enough to toss down in quantity. The Pirate Life lager ain't bad, but I was hoping for a little more bite. Especially for the relative price.

You've got a point there. Went there with $35 punting money, came home fed, well hydrated with $110, some change and a bottle of black sambuca, who needs to work?

This is a brilliant deal, a very nice drop.

I've brought 3 lots of it, 3 in each 6 pack come gift boxed, ideal for presents.

Previously in this thread I have referred to the premium cleanskin shiraz I drink quite regularly (every day). This is the wine. $84.00 a dozen without the label. Best value red I have ever had.
So you've seen everything have you?
Yep
Have you ever seen a man eat his own head?
No
Well you haven't seen everything then have you.

Can you still get the $84 per dozen? I took a couple of bottles to a BBQ a few weeks ago and then out for a dinner at a friends house and everyone raved about it, it is as smooth as a red comes, it tastes better than $80 reds I've had.

Yeah it's for sale here all the time. It's the only red I drink now. I can be a bit of a wine snob but this stuff is genuinely the best value red I have ever had.

Send me the details please, I'll be in for that for sure. I should be able to sort something out, our Berri truck goes up and back twice a day and I can get Trev to give it to the driver.
