68 guests at @$5,000 fine each might get the message through.
Enough of this being nice to people breaking the rules. Fine them and tell everyone you've done so.

Oh and apparently the groom to be is a law student, good luck getting admitted to the bar when you have to disclose that on your admissions registration!

Yikes, as a general rule applicable to those seeking admission (and generally), don't get recorded on film breaking the law. If you do, don't get recorded joking about it.

Anyone asked themselves why the government is so keen to get an injection into everyone for last years virus?
Isnt the flu shot different every year?
Isnt it a different variant now?

I woke up at 2am on Sat morning shivering uncontrollably had to have a 30 min shower to get it under control.

Word in the office today is that your reaction to the second jab is a reflection of how badly you would have been affected if you had contracted COVID in the first place. Don't know about the veracity of that, but if true, then perhaps you should be thankful if you have a reaction.

Interesting, I had the normal aches and joint pain, but the shivering was the worst Ive ever experienced and scared the shit outta me.

Yep i reckon i said the some thing many months ago.

Maybe that explains why around 50% of the deaths from the Delta Virus are the vaccinated.

The vaccine was made to combat Covid 19 in 2020 and is possibly not as effective against Delta 21 who knows ??

The old 'flu shot still gives partial immunity against new strains because they are still closely related to the older strains, but the vaccine is upgraded each year to include improved response to new strains we know about. The same should work for the CV shots.

Dan and Victoria are a ******* mess to be honest.

There was never any science that backed the curfew or locking down play grounds FFS.

You are more likely to get some gastro bug from the bloody playground than Covid. Honestly that's just silly now.

Getting kids outside in the sun is good for them, bloody hell.

This thing is apparently never ending. While I understand the mistrust of some regarding the government pushing vaccination as the way out of lockdowns, what’s the alternative? I can’t recall which Nordic nation it was now who decided to go the herd immunity route.... but I don’t think that ended well for them. Anyone have any stats there?
1961, 1971, 1976, 1978, 1983, 1986, 1988, 1989, 1991, 2008, 2013, 2014, 2015.... And don't you forget it!

Their neighbours Norway have half the population but went about it the more traditional way and had 144,000 cases with 808 deaths.

Interesting on a total population of probably less than 20 Million I’m guessing. Cases I can live with, it’s a flu. Deaths is another matter. Based on those stats, as much as we hate it, what we’ve done down under is the better alternative.

On a side note, at the conclusion of the latest lockdown in Melbourne, whenever that may be, we will become the most locked down city in the world...
