Re: Adelaide Footy League Division 1 - 2020
2020 A Grade Coach Appointed.
The Prince Alfred Old Collegians Football Club is pleased to announce the appointment of Craig Pitt as Coach and Jack Trengove as an Assistant Coach for the 2020 season.
Both will carry out their roles in a player/coach capacity.
The Club has undertaken an extensive search for a new A Grade Coach. A sub-committee of Jim Parkinson, Duncan Clarke, David Arnfield (Leading Teams) and Andrew Sullivan (Sullivan Consulting) presented their recommendation of Craig and Jack to the Committee and the Committee unanimously accepted this recommendation.
We are excited about the energy and fresh ideas these appointments bring to the club as we look to go one step further in 2020.
Both Craig and Jack are eager to get started. Following their appointment Craig and Jack made the following statements.
Craig Pitt:
“I am very privileged and excited to have the opportunity to coach PAOCFC in season 2020. We have such a great group of players and people involved in our club and I can’t wait to get started in working towards achieving the ultimate success.”
Jack Trengove:
“I could not be more excited to be involved with a club that means so much to me. A great bunch of blokes that I’ve been waiting years to be able to run out alongside of. I am looking forward to the challenge of helping us achieve the ultimate success!”
Further announcements on Assistant Coaches for the A Grade will be made over the coming weeks.

Well the top 4 sides will be very strong. Might be a considerable gap back to the rest.

Just heard on Roo and Ditz that a high profile div 1 club has been found to have significantly breeched the salary cap rules. Ah well will be interesting to see who it is.

Re: Adelaide Footy League Division 1 - 2020
In all honesty it's news to us if that's the case.
Zero correspondence from Community Football, the League, SANFL etc.
From my reading of Reg 31 it's not possible to impose penalties on a club without them being aware of them, let alone the obvious natural justice problems to that effect.

This seems to be a game of purple monkey dishwasher started by a certain person with an axe to grind.
Amazingly pervasive rumour though

Club
I'm going down to the club for a few, you keen? Not in those shoes, says the doorman at the "club"
Points for 'intensive' though, bucking the trend of 'exhaustive'

Odd article given he walked back his comments the next day (after being informed by the League/SANFL that there's nothing to them)

Maybe it's another Eastern suburbs club who aren't in Div 1 that are under the pump ...

The concept of psychological projection comes readily to mind with this rumour
Psychological projection is a defence mechanism in which the human ego defends itself against unconscious impulses or qualities (both positive and negative) by denying their existence in themselves while attributing them to others. For example, a person who is habitually rude may constantly accuse other people of being rude. It incorporates blame shifting and can manifest as shame dumping

Re: Adelaide Footy League Division 1 - 2020
Most people have heard it’s PNU ?
What’s the deal if it happens to be true?
Lose their premiership ?
Lose points for this year?
