I thought that last year though before the first half of this year came along.

Good luck to them though, they deserved it

Yep they deserve it, still cant stand them though lol.
Im still not 100% convinced by them yet, havnt taken many big scalps in that run of wins and as many experts predicted Sydney were cherry ripe last night, as soon as they rested Buddy you knew the cue was in the rack. Reckon they will find a full strength Port a much harder proposition but Port wouldnt want to take them lightly. The winner faces the tough ask of a trip to Perth or Sydney

While the boring crows\port fans debate go on and on, Richmond supporters have shown much more loyalty and has stuck to their team better than both of the SA teams. Dogs fans have a lot to look forward to with Bontempelli- that kid will be a dead set gun in this comp by 2017.

Ben Rutten has been charged with striking in his last-ever AFL game against St Kilda.

Ironically, Rutten had never been reported in his 228 games prior.

Rutten, who retired after Adelaide’s win over the Saints, has been charged with a Level Two Striking Offence for striking Adam Schneider in the first quarter at Adelaide Oval. Due to the All-Australian’s six-year good record, he can accept a reprimand and 70.31 points towards his future record.

The incident was assessed as reckless conduct (two points), low impact (one point) and high contact (two points). This is a total of five activation points, resulting in a classification of a Level Two Offence, drawing 125 demerit points and a one-match sanction.

He has an existing six-year good record, which reduces the penalty by 25 per cent to a reprimand and 93.75 points towards his future record. An early plea reduces the sanction by 25 per cent to a reprimand and 70.31 points towards his future record.

Brad Crouch was also cited by the Match Review Panel. Crouch has been charged with a first offence for wrestling Saint Dylan Roberton in the fourth quarter. He can accept a $900 sanction with an early plea.
If you want to go quickly, go alone.

If you want to go far, go together.
