jamie mason is on a year's sabbatical out at norwood, currently being replaced by uni black c1 lazy forward pocker player brett fitzgerald. mase seems to be doing ok in a very hard role. good luck to all those left in finals - think that hectorville will scare golden grove but get pipped in a belter of a game. hectorville were very good against hope valley but playing away... then the GF will be a close one either way. i'll tip the friars just because they've got some old uni boys playing for them.
always forgive your enemies...nothing annoys them so much
I'd like to wish you guys the best of luck on the weekend, and if you make it to Div 5, even better. You didn't deserve to be put into Div 6 last year, and with some luck you'd still be there. Nevertheless, I would really like to see you get over GG on the weekend and return to Div 5 in 08.
I just wished I was there with you at this time of the season, but obviously I cannot.

there position on the ladder did not reflect what sort of season they had. think they lost a lot of games by only small margins. have one of the best players in the comp in luke warburton. we (hectorvillle) were pushed by them both times we played them this yr.
grand final ovals are up to the saafl at their time of thinking ie the teams playing areas etc. if heccies make the gf the game will more than likely at payneham or walkerville but they tend to put it on grounds that have a fence so they can charge admission but i think itll be at payneham coz its about central to both sides. but well know on sat and mon
THE NEW ERA BEGINS.....HIRD AND THOMPSON.....EX CAPTAINS EX CHAMPIONS EX.....cellent choice
Pitty the crows are on this afternoon, would have loved to gone watch the big prelim, not meant to be.Play the GF at the best grand final ground in the amateur league St.Marys park.Sure its a bit of extra travel but there would not be a ground in the league that can hold that many cars and with the massive oval it creates a hard running game which is what every one wants. The atmosphere there with a full crowd is great aswell.I am being biarst but not too many people would dis-agree I would suspect........
Can you bring a man to his feet when defeat is on repeat?

Payneham would be the logical one if Hectorville win, maybe Campbelltown if GG win? Salisbury is still an option too. Won't be at St Marys, would think A5 with Lutheran v Fitzroy/Plympton will be there. I know the league goes around and gives grounds a score out of 100 and that, along with the teams competing, decides which gets game gets played where.

Sailsbury Oval would probably be the one.
Read my reply. It is directed at you because you have double standards
