Ironically I just got to the pub and 5 mins into a 30 min walk I came across one of those bikes, not dumped but neatly placed against a fence in a nice area. Seriously considered it as it would have got me here quicker and would allow for an extra beer but turned it down as didn't want to look like a dick. Walking is safer and better exercise anyway.
