Another "pearler" from holden78! Don't tell me you wouldn't have had Perrie in your team? then again you are one of those Eagles fans doing your nuts over the fact Kenny McGregor is returning full time to the Eagles. That should be a bonus for younger, fitter and faster talls that play on him.

I'd rather have Ruory Kirkby, Sam Rudolph, Ben Mules and others in my team in the positions that both these blokes play.

Perrie and McGregor are still very good footballers at SANFL level.

Kirkby over Kenny or Sarge? (legit question, haven't seen a lot of him)

At Glenelg, yes...at Sturt or Eagles, perhaps not.

Kirkby's value to Glenelg is very important to the make-up of our side. He mixes in well with Grima, Duldig, Kirk and the smaller brigade such as Holmes, Ruwoldt, Bode (come back Bodey) and others that push forward. Gets a lot of the footy up towards the wings and across half-forward, and normally uses it well.

Thought he went missing a bit in the finals bar a quarter v Sturt, although you guys would be better judges as you see your mob every week.

Actually said to my Bays mate before the Granny I reckon he needed to have a big one and I wasn't confident he could do see that against the Dogs (still haven't seen the Granny so wouldn't know how he fared).

No wonder he was amongst our better players that day.
It's all the SANFL's fault.
