A house that I have looked at for over 20 years travelling to and from the city and when we used to deliver Yellow Pages for the cricket club is finally on the market. It's a magnificent looking home on a massive block at Woodville Park, I had wondered for years what of it, how did it get to the condition it was in?

The term potential fits this place and anyone who has ever used the Outer Harbor / Grange lines would know it.

And around the corner a house on Woodville Rd situated on a 4600m2 block asking $5million!

Short walk to the train plus a tennis court and pool

If someone brought that back to it's glory days it would be magnificent.

I knew a bloke who rented the two bedroom flat on the side, some of the rooms in the main house are huge.

I asked a work colleague if her husband was going to the same place I am tomorrow as I know he often cashed in on their match day packages, I learnt today that they are not together anymore, a tad awkward.

Did not know which thread to post this in, but after tonight’s match it is very clear as long as his arse points to the ground, Alex De Minaur will never beat one of the top players in the world. He was in career best form, making some good players look ordinary, then gets blown off the court by Alcaraz.

Probably one of the fittest on tour, gives 100% all the time, but just does not have the size or strength to ever beat Carlos or Sinner etc. The only way he gets past the Quarter Finals in a grand slam will be if one of the top seeds in his side of the draw gets bundled out early unfortunately

I was just having the same convo with the missus, she said I was harsh, but I agree with you 100%.

Whilst a very good player, top 10 is a great effort, but he’s not improving against the very top players and is miles off.

Its such a shame because his attitude and work rate is everything us aussies admire in our sport stars.

Like the others it is hard to see what weapons he can find that's get him across the line. It's not just the power but even more importantly the lack of spin he gets on the ball. In cricket terms some batters love the ball coming on with pace however blokes that can turn a bowl massively are always going to get wickets.

In saying that being a 5-10 in the world tennis player year in year out is a bloody good living but will be interesting to see how he copes as he clearly wants more.

Yep.

Love me tennis but Alcaraz and Sinner might make it pretty boring for the next 20 years. They are going to play against each other in a lot of grand slams thats for sure.

ATP rankings:

1. Alcaraz 12050
2. Sinner 11,500
3 Zverev 5,105
4. Djokovic 4,780
5. Musetti 4,105
6. de Minaur 4,080

Yep, they’re both way ahead of the pack

Lleyton was in a similar predicament, he was in a good spot to win a couple of grand slams in between eras of monsters, unfortunately for the Demon these blokes are younger than him.
