Keep us posted, my knee is held together with sticky tape and the replacement is looming quickly!

Same, both of mine are knackered but I’m holding off for as long as I can,

I've been getting these injections that can last for up to 12 months, they act as the buffer for the replacement. Last one hasn't worked as well as the previous ones so I think my time might be nearly up...

dedja wrote:Mine were really bad about 5 years ago and nearly had them done then. I was in constant pain, any activity (bending, squatting, walking up/down steps, ladders, etc) and they would swell up and take days to settle down.
The laser therapy from the missus really helped. The osteoarthritis is just as bad, but I’m not in constant pain, and can do things (within reason). If I overdo it, they are sore that night but are OK the next day.
As such, I’ve decided to put up with them for a little while more. Once they start affecting me again as before, then it’s time.
