Voted on Monday and my artwork wasn’t great but it sort of looked like a phallus.Pseudo wrote:The Legalise Cannabis party hasn't messaged me yet. I guess they get my vote!mighty_tiger_79 wrote:Jacquie hasn't messaged meJim05 wrote:I just got one from the Lambie network.

Was only 5 people in the queue and voted on company time rather than give up my weekend

I went the other day on my drive home, zero people in line. Haven't voted on polling day in eons, I'm always travelling interstate, if they bother to even ask.
Doodled a doodle on both voting papers.

I'm thinking of starting a political party. The Informal Party. "Vote Informal! And your vote won't count, but does, well sorta".wenchbarwer wrote:I went the other day on my drive home, zero people in line. I think it's the only way for the big parties to realise that they're both sh1t. They've got no idea what it's like to live in the real world and their policies are only to attract votes at voting time and hardly ever get implemented.

Heard on the radio a little earlier Clive Palmer defending his trumpet of flogs party sending of text messages. Comparing them to handing out how to vote cards at polling booths.

I wonder if anyone has ever voted for him, their adverts alone are enough to make you not vote for them.Corona Man wrote:Heard on the radio a little earlier Clive Palmer defending his trumpet of flogs party sending of text messages. Comparing them to handing out how to vote cards at polling booths.

House of Reps: 4.12% first preference votes, 0 seats
Senate: 3.46% first preference votes, 1 seat
That’s what $100M in pissing ads up the wall gets you.

For him to get his money back, doesn't he need to get a certain percent? Which he obviously did otherwise he wouldn't be running again.dedja wrote:2022 Federal election - United Australia PartyLightning McQueen wrote:I wonder if anyone has ever voted for him, their adverts alone are enough to make you not vote for them.Corona Man wrote:Heard on the radio a little earlier Clive Palmer defending his trumpet of flogs party sending of text messages. You need to get at least 4% of the first preference vote to receive $12,379 + $3.386 per vote.gadj1976 wrote:For him to get his money back, doesn't he need to get a certain percent?dedja wrote:2022 Federal election - United Australia PartyLightning McQueen wrote:I wonder if anyone has ever voted for him, their adverts alone are enough to make you not vote for them.Corona Man wrote:Heard on the radio a little earlier Clive Palmer defending his trumpet of flogs party sending of text messages. UAP received 604,536 votes, so they would have received $2,059,337.90 in 2022 .. still a net loss of $98M

Ahh, I think if it's less than 4% you don't get any money. Some catch there somewhere. Either way, I wouldn't be losing nearly 100M every few years.dedja wrote:
