Re: Formula 1
I’ve said it before, they were crazy not getting Carlos after Ferrari shafted him.
Dunno, I’m just an idiot.

Re: Formula 1
Is there an any more fickle and backstabbing sport than formula one?
One too many Aussies on the grid it seems.
Doohan replaced for fp1 is just setting the bloke up to fail.
He's never raced at Suzuka so you'd think he'd want as many laps as possible.
Bunch of rich c***s playing chess with people's lives and careers.
It fast turning me off the sport.

Flavio is running the show now. How he is ever allowed back into the F1 paddock again I'll never know.

Re: Formula 1
Don’t read too much into it, reserve drivers are mandated to drive a certain number of practice sessions per year, as per FIA rules.
Ryō Hirakawa is one of Alpine’s reserve drivers and also Japanese, so makes some sense for him to be in a car for FP1 in Suzuka.
Every F1 driver on the grid will have this happen to them sometime during the year, not just Doohan.

Yeah but there's a whole season left.
Right now the "team" should be giving him every opportunity to succeed not fail.

He faarked up … was supposed to disengage DRS manually at that spot and forgot to.
Unfortunately his time in F1 will soon be up.

Piastri wins easily much to the dismay of the pommy commentary on fox.
Bloody annoying the love for Norris. Piastri has him covered.

Yep, you wouldn’t have known Oscar had won it.tigerpie wrote:Piastri wins easily much to the dismay of the pommy commentary on fox.

Wish we had a different coverage available, it's all about Lando on there. Was the same when Piastri won 2 back

Re: Formula 1
Piastri wins but all the talk is Lando as usual. It's sickening how biased the commentary is. Even the director is on board. Norris is nowhere but they keep showing his car.
I can't imagine the reaction when Oscar wins the championship and Norris finishes nowhere.

Re: Formula 1
Stoked with Piastris form, only mistake of the year was in Melb and got a bit unlucky on the grass.
Not a Norris fan at all, probably for no reason other than the biased love he gets from the UK commentary team - ridiculous.
Shaping up as a really good year, I cant see Max dropping away so drivers championship is on.

Re: Formula 1
The broadcast love for Lando is so simply.
Broadcast is a Sky Sports production. Sky Sports is a British subscription company. They are simply catering for their biggest audience and main demographic.

Think everyone is well aware of this - still a rubbish product they are producing at the moment.
It's no different to 7 or 9 or whoever has the olympics each time, always going on about the Aussies and showing replays 100 times a day. Yes i understand they are catering to the demographic but it is a rubbish product they are putting out there

Re: Formula 1
I'm getting fed up with the F1 media quoting some bloke who polished an F1 car once saying Hamilton's quitting and blah blah blah.
And the nobody old drivers giving bs statements.
Formula One media is bloody woeful.

Re: Formula 1
Piastri is the real deal, clear leader of the driver’s championship.
McLaren have all but sewn up the constructor’s championship.
Max is doing the best he can with a bucket of shit.
As expected, the Ferrari / Hamilton experiment is a failure.
Also, has to be asked, why is Alonso still in F1? We all know why Stroll is.
F1 needs a huge shake up … will see whether the changes next year will do anything to save it.
Zak Brown is an arrogant faarkwit.
That is all.
