Re: Australian Domestic Season 2024/25
So Cletus Lehmann's scores this season in the Shield are:
0 & 35
0 & 60
25 & 100
0 & 53
24* & 24
And he scored 46* in his only one day innings.
He'll be 33 next season, and coincidentally that's his FC batting average after 156 innings. FC batting average this season is about 36.
He won't be playing Big Bash.
There are four Shield matches after the break (and two one day matches).
Realistically, how many runs does he need in those matches for another contract?
IMO unless he plays a big role in a SA Sheffield Shield victory, it's time to move on from him.

In the frame but has to be a bit behind Konstas given the 100 against pretty much the current Indian attack.am Bays wrote:With two back to back shield centuries I reckon Hunt is well and truly in the frame.
He’s had a solid 4-5 years at the shield level and st 28 years he’s probably best equipped to go in against the first rock and McSweeny goes to 1st dropped
Patterson over 30 now so age may get him but yeah he can play.
