Dentists.
Infected wisdom tooth and the molar next to it had to be extracted this morning.
Don’t know what is bleeding more, my mouth or my hip pocket.
The Private health care that I pay a fortune for covered some of it but the gap was still $1300.
Had to go back to work immediately so I can pay for it :)
And people wonder why I usually get dental work done in Thailand

Feel your pain Jim.

Unfortunately, private health insurance is becoming a bit of a lottery, heavily reliant on whatever agreements your insurer has with providers, which can change from year to year.

I just changed my dentist as the new provider has no gap with my health insurer for most procedures.

A couple of years ago I was about to pull the trigger on bunion surgery on one foot, but didn’t go ahead as the gap would have been $2,500. Literally months before that, my daughter had bunion surgery on both feet with the same surgeon and health insurance, and the gap was only $400. It was all down to the insurer/provider agreement changing in the meantime.
Dunno, I’m just an idiot.

My youngest daughter and her friend being assaulted by a group of girls at Marion Shopping Centre last night. Unprovoked, did not know each other and randomly attacked. Girls are known to Police and Westfield Security, so why are they allowed into the centre?

All these plans and drills and they cannot control something as simple as this...

Firstly, hope they're physically ok and secondly that the emotional side heals in time.

Hope they are OK, wouldn't be easy to overcome.

Not sure how they can stop them entering the centre though, unless you had security on every door which wont happen

The security and cops knew exactly who they were based off the descriptions by our girls, so cannot see why the patrolling security couldn't kick them out on site if they are actually patrolling the centre...

Surely there is surveillance cameras everywhere being monitored who can radio the security officers anyway.

I believe Security can only really ask them to leave (not forcibly remove them anymore) or refuse them entry at the doors. Even then they can't be physical, can ring the police who I think do have powers to remove them or charge with trespass

In a perfect world yes, but doubt they have anyone watching the cameras

Counted 42 people in the Adelaide Oval restaurants last night, steaks are $50 and a bowl of carrots $12.

or North (3000 km North)

Same prices as this time last year and was a pretty good quality

I'd go back there again
Let that be a lesson to you Port, no one beats the Bays five times in a row in a GF and gets away with it!!!

I've seen steaks on Uber Eats and at shitty pubs for more than $50. Not uncommon.

One Chinese restaurant holds about 120 people, been there numerous times and never had an issue.

Nan Yuan has great food.

I was surprised that so many were booked out.
