So you have to be one of the best players to be in the leadership group? Stupid sledge.
Fills a need on the ground as a pressure forward.
You wot mate?

Massive blow to their leadership stocks…

Don't want to see anyone miss through injury for any length of time, so will resist the temptation for a cheap gag.
Poor old Crows don't have much to work with when healthy, so their injuries are adding even more challenge to a difficult season,
When do those at the club responsible for list management (and strategy behind it) come under scrutiny? Since the stupidity of the Bryce Gibbs deal they have been miles behind in either talent identification and/or player development.
They're in a bad place with the ages of their better players, and reliance upon them (Walker and Laird) and which kids in their system are genuinely exciting prospects? Where's their real star power (Oliver, Petracca, Bont, Daicos, Cripps, Neale, Butters etc)? List wise the future looks better for the Roos and Hawks as things stand, the Eagles will push for assistance in the not too distant future, then not long after there's an expansion club with all the concessions associated.
Hard to see the Crows genuinely contending again in this decade as things currently stand, so IMHO (and without knowing the quality of upcoming drafts) they need to be taking some drastic action (ie, similar to what Port did to land Rozee, Butters and Duursma in the same draft) and as immediately as possible.

You’re better than that Spargo.
Is this where I add a Tarrant Thomas quip?

Meanwhile Sholl, Cook, Himmelberg, Parnell, Gollant, Hamill and Schoenberg are yet to make a spot their own and probably don't have one going forward. Still plenty of the list to turn over and that's without Walker, Sloane, Smith and Laird ( 30+ ) making way.
