Once again individual heroics and our bowlers cover over major cracks... Head, Khawaja and Smith are all needing to earn their spots moving forward and should not be considered guarantees to play next summers crucial series.

Usman has a stack of credits up his sleeve.

Gutsy by Marsh, Carey and Cummins.

Would have been great for Kez to get the ton but can’t blame Cummins for hitting the runs when they were there to be hit.

Yes but a bloke with a gorilla on his back could have shut the world up with 100 unbeaten, we were home

I'm going to enjoy some Kiwi salt from the commentators, especially Scotty 'Oh no' Stevenson.

Loved the reaction to Carey from his teammates. He is not going anywhere soon.

Looks like the crowd didn't want to hang around, the Hagley Oval surrounds were quickly abandoned.

Exactly

Alex wouldn’t care. He’s basically guaranteed his Test selection all through next Summer.

He’s shut the door on that unwanted speculation on his spot with Inglis performing well lately
Let that be a lesson to you Port, no one beats the Bays five times in a row in a GF and gets away with it!!!

Would have been a larger sook if Pat left them for Carey to get next over and then we bottled it!

Take the win however you can get it I say.
