By 2025 the AFL must look seriously at banning all bumps
Litigation will be the reason

I know it's been questioned before but when does a contract state that you might get concussed and have long-er term ramifications?

Others will know greater than me but im when it comes to WH&S there is no such a thing 'at your own risk'. Essentially a work place cant 'waiver' health and safety.

One of the reasons the game is so popular to play and spectate is because there is an element of risk.

Alastair Clarkson has been handed a $20,000 fine and a suspended two-game ban (until the end of 2025) for his verbal tirade at St Kilda players last weekend.

Should he repeat, the ban will be enforced. But he is free to coach Rd1

If he's on a mil per year (and it's probably more than that), they've fined him 2% of his salary.

Give me a break, the midget is a repeat offender, has a rap sheet longer than most, way back to his disgusting king-hit on Ian Aitken in the Battle of Britain game. Was a dog at 19 and has never grown up.

FFS, the world has gone mad.

People need to harden the F.U.I.C up and stop being outraged.

Ok so youre on 100k, youre a coach at the local amateur footy match, one of your players get taken out, you have words with the player and the amateur league fines you 2k, all hell would break loose. Thats not a wet lettuce leaf
Give me a spell, what he said is in no way homophobic, its laughable the bow that is being drawn there. Who the hell did it offend, please

It's a really odd one, I haven't heard the term "cocksucker" yelled out in public for some time, seems very odd and from another time to break that one out.

However the reaction about how offensive this is seems a little much. It plays I to this offensive issue that someone is always offended.

I know that as a society we have moved on from this sort of behaviour, however seems the massive offense is indicative of our wider society where you are walking a tight rope in order not to offend any groups.
Read my reply. It is directed at you because you have double standards

Scott having a fair dinkum crack at the AFL about the opening round. In particular the fact players have been requesting two byes during the season for a while now and constantly been knocked back by the AFL because there wasn’t enough time.
