Guilty, Guilty and Guilty for mine.
7-11 rounds total.

See you in Feb 2025 Arron.

Will be a test for Heyzer, agree has to be massive penalty. Hopefully the umps reported him to start with

The umpire gave it out twice then got intimidated to change his decision with the abuse and carryon that was going on, at the end of the day we are all human and mistakes will occur
Our umpires do a great job and they will make mistakes or bad decisions at the end of the day this is an amateur comp not International or even state level (which mistakes occur all the time)
I have never seen anything like it on a cricket field it was an utter disgrace from the Grange CC
If I was in charge of that Club the captain (A. Sayers) would never play for my club again and he deserves a massive wack from the association
They need to set an example to stop this from happening ever again
Credit to T. Wordsworth and M. Quinn (non-striker) handled the situation with great character and understanding of the situation

Just took a look......the captain from Grange.....what an absolute wayne kerr. To go from zero to 'we will walk off if its not given out' is an absolute disgrace and should see a length spell on the sidelines.

Full credit to the Para Hills players for dealing with the situation in a very professional manner.

Think you meant umpire gave it "NOT OUT" twice before being intimidated into changing their minds.

Agree re Para Hills batters, very well handled.

Throw the book at the Club and captain.

Also Chadd should be suspended, how can a guy who has a Baggy Green cap get so worked up about a ATCA game, guy has serious problems

I'd like to know what the umpire said to be honest.

Seems to me like the umpire said he hit it, but didn't see the catch taken?

Oh the joys of cricket! :D

Yes, ATCA can, and often does, investigate any matter they see fit, with or without an umpires report.

The umpire in question obviously is embarrassed by his part and doesn't want the attention on the entire incident.

It is one of the limitations of the live scoring and linking to video, especially when then using that to create a highlights package.

The system relies on the wicket being entered into the scoring, then says right, lets play from say 15 seconds before that, til 15 seconds after, and thats our 30 second highlight of the wicket.

However, if it takes the umpire 90 seconds to give it out, the scorer obviously takes 95 seconds to enter it, and then the highlight as missed the ball in question.

This link should open up right at the wicket for you:

Wow, really puts Ingle Farm in the box seat to miraculously make the finals after looking absolutely shot only a couple weeks ago!

Interesting, if as to believe 2 games were just carry over from a suspended sentence. That would mean only 2 games and 6 points for that outburst.

Goes to show that ATCA likes some clubs and not others.

I got 4 weeks for apparently saying something to an outgoing batsman that no umpire could have possibly heard on the ground.

That was guilty on all charges x3 and only got 2 weeks. Heyzer needs to move on.
