Ashwin took his 35th five wicket haul in test cricket (equal with Kumble) and now has 404 test wickets in Asia (507 overall).

England shat the bed here.

Putting aside that 2nd innings display for a sec and focus on last night's events.

Firstly the poms bowled like crap. So much middle leg stuff that gave India 40 runs head start.

Secondly, Anderson would have had that ball reversing in 3rd over after that pitch roughes it up. But didn't use him.

Ireland in control all match.


Not sure why Ireland, Afghanistan and Zimbabwe aren't included in the WTC. Ireland played 4 test matches last year (2023) so it's not because of a lack of games. If they were, Ireland would be top right now!
