They won the flag that year and smothered over all the cracks*, but looks like he might have been right after all.

Be interesting to know the names he's proposed to get gear for.
Not so much the names but how many.
It certainly makes you think Bartlett was on to something.

Rumour Angus Brayshaw from Melbourne going to announce retirement due to Concussion issues.

Probably wise move, they earn great money but surely quality of life is more important, and being a Scratch golfer would miss playing golf also.

Feel for Brayshaw, must be devastating … no one deserves that.

In my small mind, confirms that the rule change this year brought in only because of the Maynard/Brayshaw incident is totally unwarranted.

Seemingly any contact, no matter how innocuous, would be a danger to Brayshaw.

That is sad he's a great player.
Looks like Strop but good to watch.

I think Nathan Murphy might be next to retire.

Terrible result for Gus Brayshaw. While it wasn't Maynard's fault he had to retire the incident last year seemed to be all about Maynard's right to play in a grand final with Brayshaw's welfare seemingly forgotten.

It's the same kneejerk reaction that brought in the sliding in rule because Rohan broke his leg.

and 800k per year. That's a tough-er decision to make and adds to the fact that he's made a better longer term decision.
