"I am humbled and honoured to be elected to the Port Adelaide FC Board of Directors by our Club's members. Having spent the majority of my life connected to the Club I look forward to a new chapter in this relationship where I can be a formal voice representing our Club's passionate members. I understand this position is not to be taken lightly and I hold it with the utmost of responsibilities. I will hold myself to the highest of standards and will drive everyone involved in our Club to do the same, honouring the former custodians of the Club who drove the Club from a community Club formed just a dozen years after the game was invented, to becoming one of the winningest football Clubs in Australia.

Port Adelaide exists to win premierships, and whilst I cannot promise on-field success, I can guarantee I will use all of my abilities and endeavours to help our Club in its efforts to win its second AFL Premiership and its first AFLW Premiership."
