India choking like the Power in finals at Footy Park in the early 2000s (Yes I have some PTSD from being there).

Although 1.4 billion Indians brings alot more expectation than 25,000+ Power fans.

In 7/387 with lead of 141 runs and I dare say they still have a few more runs left out there.
7/405 with a lead of 159 now, England are no chance now.

Will be interesting to see the crowds for that series in both Mount Maunganui and Hamilton, I just listened to the Grandstand Cricket Podcast where Ed Cowan said that the first four days of both the NZ v Aus test matches are sold out, small grounds admittedly he said (Wellington and Christchurch).

Basin Reserve (Wellington) holds approx 11,500. Weirdly the national highway 1 circles the ground.

Hagley Oval (Christchurch) holds 9000 normally but can double that if they need to. Hagley Oval is situated in the city's parklands and surrounds are public playing fields. It's the replacement ground for Lancaster Park that was destroyed in the earthquake and unable to be rebuilt due to the soil conditions

Yeah the Basin is basically a roundabout! The highway runs basically East/West and the South exit is Adelaide Road that turns into the Parade in Island Bay, where my mum is from.

Not a very big roundabout

Apparently used to be a lake before an earthquake raised the area in the mid 1850’s. Have been there but not during a match.
