Won’t bother the Redbacks anytime soon but it appears the IPL are going to start their season early which will mean before the SS Final. Players would probably head off and play IPL rather than a Shield Final

Agree with getting rid of it. Three games being played at the same time in the last round will have a greater climax more often than the Shield Final IMO. Hopefully this last round is played before players head off to the IPL.

Our captain playing in the second XI, it really does say it all.

It’s like when your club is struggling and 8 A Graders decide to play in the B’s too then 5 B Graders double up for the A’s.

Lloyd Pope might be bowling himself out of the Shield team next week, 0/90 off 14 overs.

Thought they would pick him after last couple of weeks, but just too expensive in red ball cricket unfortunately.

Playhq stopped working late in the day (nothing unusual really) so have no idea what the stumps score is.

I know Jake Lehmann was dismissed.
He chased a ball down leg side, half an appeal from keeper and bowler and was then given out.
He then proceeded to give the "what for" to the umpire.

Unfortunately the Redbacks will be back to disappoint us this weekend

Head and McBerserk will be unavailable but Carey should be available to play

Hunt - Last Chance
Smith - I don't care there is no one else
McSweeney (C)
Carey
Kelly
Scott
McAndrew
Manenti
Buckingham
Agar
Johnson - If available? if not play Pope

Why do we have so many bowlers on the list???? Doggett Grant Conway all solid FC cricketers but do we need 3 of them when the batting is so thin.

Have feeling they may play Harry Neilson as a batter, nobody has put their hand up to play so gives them excuse to play him
