Flemington R8 #18 Lauding. The 2000m is the trip it needs. Gets back and runs on, Johnny Allen on board, $8 at the moment and needs some scratchings to get a run by the looks. I don't think I'd take less than $8 given the field quality but worth an EW ticket if it gets a start

I'll post the owners preview when it comes in

Also is nommed next Wednesday

Quick update via the audio preview.

Apparently confident of getting a run.
Bit of pace in the race and big wide spaces and the 2000m should suit.

I had a small place heavy bet.
there was no pace at all up front plus leaders had it easy all day with bias

You probably won't get $13 next start unless similar set up.

John Dunn and Krystal Bishop have an astounding 31 horses nominated today at Port Lincoln.

Must be close to a record.

Sandown R5 #7 Mr Trafficanti. Was on last start at Flemington where it loomed into the race strongly but was held up for most of the straight. Also struck interference the race prior. Sandown's long straight suits, stays at the 1600m, Blake Shinn on board is a plus. Took $6 yesterday, into $4.80 this morning.

Belmont R7 #2 Starcienne. Quite taken by this mare who gets back and storms home. Stunning prep this time last year winning 4 on the bounce. Lean patch from March to September but appears to have returned in that customary condition with a brilliant first up win at Belmont on January 10. Retains Jordan Turner in the saddle from that win, steps up to 1400m with a solid record over the track and trip. $4.80 is a fair price IMO. Keen on it winning but based on the first up run, should be top 3 today and giving this a good shake.
