For me, it’s a big watch.
Again, trainer seems upbeat (but when aren’t they) could’ve raced at Gawler, Stath and Balaklava but choose a $50k race first up, I’m not sure how I feel about that.
Looks a bloody tough maiden race, 16 runners and we’ve drawn the Carpark (barrier 13) although the rails 13m out on the course proper I would suggest we would be looking for a bit of luck and Potter picking the right path, but again probably based on the tempo of the race.
Fingers crossed.

Teo Nugent nearly had him winning over 1700m two runs back, was a solid effort from the back in a tougher Pakenham hitout last run and is primed to get the choccies today. Getting $11-$12 now. Don’t see that lasting. Should be $4-$5 in my opinion.

Back in class significantly from Saturday Highway grade, had a ******* shocker from the apprentice last start in a big field but before that was running good races in big fields. Due for some luck and a field of 9 in a midweek meet at Taree. Heavy track is a query but we get Koby Jennings aboard. I took $3.20 the place and boosted the win to $11. Has to run top 3 unless something goes amiss and should be winning considering its class and recent form. If you read the stewards comments last 5 starts it’s had issues finding clear air. Clearly there’s reasons why the stable has taken it from Randwick to Taree and that’s to collect a cheque. Should be jumping $4 in my opinion.
Good luck, you can see it's past races here, not for me.

Well I can’t knock the ride. Winner had all the favours and we go down a half head. On at the overs. Nearly caught the bookies out but we live to fight another day.

Flemington R8 #18 Lauding. The 2000m is the trip it needs. Gets back and runs on, Johnny Allen on board, $8 at the moment and needs some scratchings to get a run by the looks. I don't think I'd take less than $8 given the field quality but worth an EW ticket if it gets a start
