Shafique was in complete control until his dismissal and that was a peach to knock over Babar.

Australia's 318 in the first innings is the first time a team has past 200 batting first at the MCG since 2019.

You're dreaming. Taking away my SA bias, Carey is the best glovesman in the country and his batting average is better than most keepers

Where there is smoke, there is fire!

When Robert Craddock writes his article in the paper this morning you know he is in trouble. He is like Carolyn Wilson with AFL and gets all the inside goss.

You cant argue with his batting average of 15 in last five Tests.

I get you are all SA Bias on here but facts dont lie. He is under the pump big time to make runs in Sydney!

He is under the pump but even i can admit the potential replacements just aren't worth the change given the side is winning. I like Inglis as a batter but he hasn't done enough yet to prove himself.

He won’t be dropped this summer, we are winning and then they’ll use the West Indies to justify everyone’s positions as well smash them.

We have a pretty lean schedule this year for memory, a cutla tests against the shaggers and then no tests til next summer

Absolutely he would be under pressure but we are winning and he seems to have a real good connection with Lyon which is super important and I’d suspect Lyon would be pushing for him to stay in the side. Inglis is a far worse keeper IMO and his batting is highly overrated so I’m just not sure you would replace Carey at this stage. He will go to NZ and then reassess before the India tour here next summer

Hey hey hey

No SA bias here

Wade should still be the keeper. Carey has made a mess of it the last 6months.
Matty Wade is a star and deserves more respect from the forum family!

I did read that article. But I'll stand by my you're dreaming comment. Inglis isn't even the next best. And if he is, we're struggling for keepers. He averaged less than 20 in the World Cup and his glovework doesn't even compare.

Good to see Pakistan putting up a bit of a fight this morning. Will keep the rest of today and hopefully the next few days interesting.

I dont get the love for Inglis either. Personally would go Pierson if making a change. Agree nothing going to happen in 2024 as not many Tests.
