Even made Mrs Boon happy* by strolling Rundle Mall for an hour before hand window shopping.

All the while getting the weekend washing cycle complete, even finished off the pool start up ready for the week ahead.

Some weekends nothing is great, other weekends when you go non stop are just as good, had a ripper.

Would’ve been a pane to carry around for the afternoon.

Friday, 37°, good tides, boat ready to go and the day off.

Friday, 37°, pool is ready to go, out in the boat then home into the pool.

Friday, 37°, out in the boat, pool is ready to go, bottled session ales last weekend that are currently sitting in a frosty fridge.

Sounds like boat/pool/drinking trifecta

Sorry, the phone photos never work
Im on the desktop now

18 months ago, they:
1. changed the recipe
2. changed the bottle & label and reduced the size for the same $
3. moved production to Singapore

It was terrible

It took a while to find something else but I eventually moved to Pure Blonde Organic Low Carb
I dont know anyone that still drinks Strongbow

I heard through someone in Coopers that its been a complete disaster in Australia
It will be interesting to watch if they can claw back some market share
They are offering some hefty discounts

Lol, the missus drinks it occasionally and didn't notice the difference.
Mind you she only drinks it if Bulmers, Thatcher's, Mercury and Magners isn't available.

They should have changed the labels back to the originals as well
A lot of people will still recognise the new label and associate it with the new taste
Another bad marketing move - half pregnant fix

I would love someone to do a critical review of the past 24 months.
I'm going to write to a friend at the AFR - that's the sort of thing they love doing

Today, went down to Goolwa and then onto the Coorong by boat to Cattle Point for a re-burial of artefacts brought back from England that were taken from Ngarrindjeri land 130 years ago. Perfect day for it too weather wise.
Deeply moving ceremonies and some amazing scenery along the Coorong I hadn't seen in years (and the missus had never seen before). Stir Fried cockles (why is everyone calling them Pipis now?) cooked on the boat with a bit of chilli, garlic, etc went down a treat too (as did a couple of white wines as the choice of beer was ordinary). So much wildlife down there at the moment, its incredible, a truly unique part of the world.
An ABC cameraman tagged along so hopefully some footage on the way.
Tell ya what though, my legs are feeling it tonight hiking over those sand dunes, I doubt I'll be able to walk tomorrow, struggling now!

Eastern states influencers calling them Pipis, to suit their market,
on Sunrise yesterday morning they were in NZ & called them clams!

They're bloody cockles!
I go to the bait shop & get a bag of cockles,
you don't go pipi'ing, you go cockling!

And yes, they taste fantastic!
