He was awful. Should have had HazelWood bowling the 48th and 50th rather than Starc. How many wides did he bowl?

This Kiwi team can bat. Mitchell, Conway, Ravindra and then add Williamson. Will be an interesting test series early next year.

I really need to pump up Josh Inglis

EFA

As a C Grade muppet keeper if I can’t take a waist high take on the bounce and take the stumps two metres away I need to give up the gloves

That run out is seriously grade level

Kudos to Inglis though he’s been given an opportunity and he’s kept well (not great) and when he’s needed to produce with bat he has.

Can’t ask anymore of that though.
Let that be a lesson to you Port, no one beats the Bays five times in a row in a GF and gets away with it!!!

Brilliant game. Agree, Ravindra looks an absolute star. Travis Head an amazing knock. Warner has batted himself in to top form. That sitter that the Pakistani dropped off him has propelled Warner back to his best.

Kudos to the selectors. They made the right call sticking by Travis Head. I think they've made the right call replacing Carey with Inglis - purely because Inglis is more dynamic with the bat. I also think they've made the right call by sticking with Smith/Laubuschagne at 4/5 and not playing Stoinis or Green.

Stoinis is probably the one that could come back in if anyone except Inglis gets injured or has a run of bad form.

Aussies get a weeks break now. The place where they played NZ looks amazing with the mountains in the back ground. Hopefully they get a chance to explore a bit!

Agree about Smith and Labuschagne. I think we see the value of them if we end up 2/20 in a game.

We all might look back on the Ravindra innings as that time we knew he was something special

Can’t wait to see what he can produce in test cricket.

I don’t, I wouldn’t play both of them, you can’t plan for failure.

The game has evolved and we aren’t scoring 350 if them two occupy the crease for too long.

That’s the beauty we can still score 350 even if they don’t score big, yet if we are in trouble there isn’t many batters in the world you would want. We get the best of both worlds

Replace them with a Stoinis or Green and there only value is if we are scoring big in which case as we saw last night, Maxwell, Inglis and even Cummins can ensure we get to 380

Essentially if we can get to 350 with Warne, Head, Marsh, Maxwell and Inglis I doubt Stonis or Green is going to be the difference.

Ideal start for England, Willey and Woakes on the money so far, Rohit looking good though.
I do enjoy it when the crowd goes completely silent when Kolhi is dismissed cheaply.
Would like to see Wood come on to bowl to Shreyas Iyer.

Doesn't matter about Wood as Woakes gets Iyer caught out on the pull shot off a shortish delivery.
