No different to what Horse Longmire doing at Sydney, loading up now for one more shot. Or what Hardwick did at Richmond, Clarko at Hawks. You have to grab the opportunity when you are in charge.

Not sure Sydney are doing that, got plenty of quality <22yo's

Not Port though?

Let that be a lesson to you Port, no one beats the Bays five times in a row in a GF and gets away with it!!!

Port's quality under 22's - JHF and who else?

add to that you are likely to have little draft capital in this years draft

Butters, Bergman, Georgiades, Lord, Jones, Visentini, Sinn, Williams ( Rozee, Drew, Marshall, Farrell are 24 or under ).

Hardly a bare cupboard in 18 months.

I said under 22 ;)

Guess my point is a new coach would have more of a view to the future, Ken (understandably in his position) is all in.

13 of the 22 that lost to GWS are under 25 or under. Quite absurd your take to be honest.

You can imagine the outfall if Grundy and Adams break down preseason and miss the start?
FWIW I think Adams has plenty left in the tank, not sure about Grundy though.

Interesting story this one.
I just read that he was an hour late for his exit interview and was told not to come to a team exit session.
Now this could be total media BS but there seems to be behavioral issues starting to pile up.
I just hope the bloke gets himself right cause he's a hell of a player to watch.

And here's me waiting for a Jordy or Ginni to be in the news for all the wrong reasons.
I know I know it's only early :D

Completely agree, Ken has to go for a flag and that is what he is doing, but there is fallout from this strategy and Lord being targeted because Dixon is still there is one of them.

Nothing to do with Geelong needing a spearhead to replace Hawkins and Lord being from Geelong but it's because Dixon is still there.

Bad day out today mate.

OK, we see it differently and that is fine, when are Port going to head back to the draft?

Will it take Ken moving on or will it happen before?

According to Fox Sport this is one hell of an effort from the 22 year old:

"After rejecting the second-round offer, Geelong is reportedly targeting Power youngster Ollie Lord, who’s grandson is a legend of the Cats."
