I know he wasn’t great during the finals but I think he can play. Not sure if his injuries are going to cause him issues going forward.
I’d suspect the trade will look something like Zerk plus pick 28 to Port for Duursma and 38 and that both sides would be pretty content with that. As long as that loser Dodoro is kept away from negotiations

Not sure if legit or not but has been a rumour that Collingwood’s Nathan Murphy has had to retire due to concussions.

He has to front the concussion panel to see if he is allowed to continue to play

It's a good pick for him but considering we draft him at 17, develop for 8 years, and lose him for pick 19 (which will get worse), we lose.
Yes coming off two knees but reckon if he is available at pick 19 in this years draft you take him.

What position he was drafted has no bearing whatsoever on what his value is now.
I think he is worth a pick in the high 20’s to mid 30’s but Lions obviously paying enough to trigger higher so good luck to them.

Yep. My mates have been asking what we need to take the next step. In my opinion, a decent (think Papley, Schulz, Bruest) small forward who can teach Durdin, Motlop. And a ruckman.

That means zero though. We picked Dow with pick 3, He'll go to the Saints for pick 40 odd.

The development time is always an interesting debate. I can certainly see Adelaide's side of this one.

But perhaps look at the other side of it.
Doedee 'only' has 6 seasons left in his aging body. The kid you bring in will have potentially 15 years of footy ahead of him.

So you could say you've only downgraded 2 spots (from 17 to 19), and more than doubled the amount of footy left in the player!
It's a great win for the crows!!!

(FWIW, We both know the truth is somewhere in the middle.)
Danny Southern telling Plugga he's fat, I'd like to see that!
