How bout this scenario, i dont think its happened yet but it cant be too far away.

Player A has the ball, Player B comes in to tackle, A drops his knees causing the tackle to be high, umpire calls play on because he ducked. All in the rules of the game right?
However, Player A is concussed from the tackle, whats the match review officer's result?

If the afl dealt with Selwood 15 years ago we wouldn't be having these conversations.

Anyone who questions selwoods courage is an idiot

Interesting to read today that Murphy ruled himself out during the GF with blurry vision after Collingwood passed his HIA...

Does make you wonder how and what they test for if the player rules themselves out.
There are no stupid questions, just stupid people.

Crazy to think Bobby Hill only ended up at Collingwood because GWS refused a second round and third round pick the year before.

Ironic given what GWS ended up getting for him.

We tried to get him with a year to run on his contract but he put his request in at the last minute and it was too late to get it done. Toby was also suspended for the opening month the following year so understandable that they didn’t want Hill to leave

Bobby put in his request more than early enough, it was when he found out his partner was pregnant but yeah Toby Green suspension put a spanner in the works.

His first interaction with Essendon was on the Friday and left only a few days to try and get something done. Most deals are in the works for some time and this one hit the club out of the blue. There was never an inkling that he was interested in us until then.

I could have watched it wrong or it could have been the editing the Show Me The Money doco highlighted/followed that trade a lot different to what you’ve written.

They made it out that first contact from Hills agent to Adrian whatever his name was very early in the piece and what took long was Essendon deciding to add the third round pick which GWS demanded was included for them to even look at a trade

It also highlighted Essendon stalling on Hills demand for a four year contract not 3 which Essendon agreed to last minute. Collingwood offered 4 years from day one but weren’t willing to give what GWS wanted.
