The price works out to be 25K for ownership but the ongoing fee is 42k per year?

1250 x 20 = 25000 owner ship

40 x 20 = 800 x 52 = 41,600 in going

Per person = $3330 first year and $2080 on going.
PAFC. Forever.

When I spoke with Jordan, we were quoted for a 5% share $130 a month when in work and $40 a month when spelled.

We own 20%. Our first invoice was $149.60 or $7.48 per 1% as he's still being spelled. Gelded at the end of the month to commence work.

So based on his figures so far, and say the colt is in work 8 months (for example) that's $20,800 in annual fees while in work and $3,200 while spelled.

That is a bargain, if Lefty was with a better stable he would've won triple of what he has, little Jonny is a backyard hack.

We have our favourite Jon Up moments that we rattle off and have no choice but to laugh, I have two standouts, the first when he was accepted @ Flemington the race immediately prior to the Melbourne Cup, Jon got spooked and scratched him, another was when he was flying and he was next in line to get in a field of 14 for a decent race in Melbourne, he announced that if there were no scratchings by Thursday night then he wouldn't take him, ended being about 5 scratchings Friday afternoon onwards and a $27 roughie got up. Not to be outdone, enters him in a race here with the grandstand on his back and the saddle falls off mid race, f*** that was hard to live down.

Lots of dodgy syndicators out there, make a living out of buying a horse for $5k and syndicating it out a month later for $25k

Jolly stable is very well run and provides excellent feedback to the shareholders.

Bottom weight in the 2nd at Grafton today. Currently $17, reckon you’ll get more towards the jump.

Brightside massive win - I'd be following I Wish I Win this prep. IWIW was very good Sat just peaking fresh over the 1400m. Think it can knock Giga Kick off in The Everest

Yeah, I’m a bit broken, his Victorian record speaks in volumes, he was wasted over here running in races that weren’t his pet 1400m distance because we don’t have many of them, always carried the grandstand because of it.

I’ve learnt a bit about being in syndicates, I’ve been involved with two that have come well out in front, it’s a ruthless industry but at the end of the day I’m sure Lefty is going to live a good life after racing, he’s provided the forum with some great moments.
