Going to be an interesting week, I’ve had former boss get in touch with me to see if I’d consider moving interstate for a major role with a big company.

Obviously I’ve said yes, now to see how this plays out.

Drumsticks and chorizo are on, one has spent an hour peeling and chopping tomatoes with garlic, parsley and olive oil, that's currently basting the drummies.

Glad I've eaten already otherwise I'd be drooling. Zambrero was OK but not in that league!

Cataract Surgery.

Had a retina re-attachment in January, in my left eye. Surgeon advised this would speed up the development of Cataracts. He was spot on. Can't see all that much out of the left one. Actually feel a bit like I shouldn't be driving.

Going in for left eye in 3 weeks, and they will do the right eye 2 days later.

No more Dirk Wellam quips when I walk out to bat. No Goggles anymore.

I might be surprised what I will be able to actually see in a few weeks time!

My next chapter, I made a bold move yesterday to quit my job, money was great but the culture was terrible.

I was making inroads to changing it but someone above me kept coming through and destroying it, it got to the point where I was sad that I woke up each morning.
