Used his body as a battering ram for 276.
Courageous and selfless.
Could've selfishly played on for the 300.

Surely for my Supercoach, Rattson play him for the remaining matches and give him all the kick-ins.
Whoops, there goes another year. Whoops, there goes another pint of beer.

Cunners calls time.
North Melbourne great, Ben Cunnington will play a farewell game v Essendon this week & retire immediately after the match. As Shinboner # 956 he is one of the club’s most revered players renowned for tough, no nonsense approach & will be remembered as one of the greatest handballers the game has seen. He will finish on 237 games & to this day still holds the AFL record for most contested possessions in a match with 32.
They don’t make’m like him anymore.

Ziebell apparently in hospital after being assaulted at a Melbourne bar last night after his retirement game
Sounds like an unprovoked attack as he was leaving the venue and a group of thugs decided to “make a name for themselves”

Believe he and friends were at a bar and these scumbags were harrassing Ziebell and co and were as a result turfed out by security.

Sometime after Ziebell went outside to meet a friend who was attending the venue and these scum jumped him. Media reports suggest he was forced to the ground and kicked a number of times in the head and body. They ran off leaving Ziebell on the ground

Just mentioned on the Footy show that he may need facial surgery. Let’s hope there is video footage and Vic Pol do their job

An updated report states he was left with a broken nose after being attacked by three men unknown to him.

They’ve got 2 of these gutless c#nts. CCTV footage apparently shows Jack being sucker punched in the head, landing face first on the footpath & then being kicked while he lay there. He’s so lucky he only got a broken nose, surgery in the next week or so.
I just think back to Hookesy when shit like this happens.

Pure thuggery and cowardice. Makes me very anxious about my son heading to the city when he turns 18 later this year.

What’s the bet he gets off on good behaviour or some other BS excuse.

Ratten departing Arden Street.
Hope he’s not lost to footy as he’s a great bloke and has plenty to offer.

agree sad to see him leave, but sounds like he wants a full break from footy. Would be perfect in a Mark Williams type role in the future
