Re: ATCA
ATCA advice was that covers weren't required over night, but clubs could use them if they wanted to given the forecast for showers this morning. Well, most places have had about 10mm up until 6.00am, so those clubs who didn't cover their wickets (I suspect most) would be stuffed.

Saying they weren’t required then changing it later that night will make it look worse. Clubs would have struggled to get people to go get covers on.

Hanson in a league of his own for mine. Most, if not all, of his centuries are in A1 .... amazing effort.

Re: ATCA
Plenty to play for this week in all A grades.
In A1, top 3 looks settled, but Goodwood, Marion and Para Hills will be keen to win and secure a home semi final. Woody South, Grange and Hope Valley vying for 4th. I'm tipping the winner of Woody South v Hope Valley sneaking in, but we may see some interesting declarations as teams chase points. Woody South may rue starting their round 4 game which was abandoned after 3.3 overs, costing them 2.79 points. PAOC and SPOC will both be relegated.
Two massive games in A2. OSCA play Flinders Park with the winner securing minor premiership and promotion. The winner of Woody Rechabites v Gepps Cross will play finals and the loser misses out. Fulham and Modbury back to A3.
In A3, Goodwood have secured the minor premiership and promotion to A2, which is an incredible effort given they are a second XI. Golden Grove v Ingle Farm is a winner take all with the winner playing finals and Old Ignations looking to sneak past the loser.
Good luck to all teams.

Goodwood at the pointy end of B1 too? Will they go A1, 2 & 3 if given the opportunity?Senor Moto Gadili wrote:Plenty to play for this week in all A grades.

there is no relegation in A3 this year is there? assuming this would mean maybe 1 team coming up if they wanted to. would be a huge affort to have 3 grades in A1 2 AND 3

Re: ATCA
Correct, no relegation in A3 and two teams up to make it a 12 team comp. Not sure why it wasn't a 12 team comp this year.

Re: ATCA
Mark Hanson playing his last game this round. What a career he has had at Pooraka. Can he make one final century?

Re: ATCA
a few low scores from the weekend!
Marion being rolled for 114 but game is the balance if a couple of quick wickets happen.
Hope Valley also getting run through was a surprise.
Goodwood you would think have enough now but were in serious trouble at one stage.
Ingle farm were 6/35 at one point but got to 130. TOS 3/50 now and fighting back from 3/15ish
Para Hills went very large but definitely not of reach for Pooraka. Jye and Hanso will score big.

Port aka Grange were rolled by Trinity last year and then started year 0 - 5. Might be an omen for Crows.

Re: ATCA
Grange get the reverse outright over Marion to leap frog Woody South into 4th spot. Might add a little bit more spice to today's T20 final.
