When I park my car overnight at certain places, my tyre pressure alerts come on in the morning giving me low tyre pressure readings on anywhere between 1 & 4 tyres. I'll go to work or do whatever I'm doing that day and by the afternoon the alerts go.

Does anyone else have this problem? It usually only occurs when I park it in a certain carport.

Depends how you have the alert set up but tyre psi changes about 4 psi from hot to cold.

Watched a bloke today reverse park and he ran straight into the back of the car next to him.

Its all about the steering of the front wheels & how the car swings into a spot. Its why I usually reverse park (easier to get in the centre of the spot) & reverse parallel park (gets closer to the curb). Same reason why forklifts steer from the rear.

Does the BOM have the capability now to forecast temperature in every single town or do they use a weather station nearby that is likely to be closest to that town?

The forecast is actually a complete layer over the entire country and then they select the locations they want to report a specific forecast for, but all they are doing is pulling the data from the underlying model that covers everywhere.

eg:
Image

As such, you can get a forecast for every single location, where ever you want (even upto approx 100km off the coast).

eg:

You will note if the location you select is close to a town/city, it will refer to that location (capture on the right), however if you are off in some random location, it will just give you the lat and long (capture on the left).

Hope that helps.
