Usman Khawaja, 35 turning 36 next week
David Warner, 36
Marnus Labuschagne, 28
Steve Smith, 33
Travis Head, 28
Cameron Green, 23
Alex Carey (wk), 31
Pat Cummins, 29
Mitch Starc, 32
Josh Hazlewood, 31
Nathan Lyon 35

Will the ACB start tapping a couple of players on the shoulder to step aside for upcoming players or will they resist and probably have multiple players retire at the same time .....

Usi still looks in decent physical nick and his long absence will give him 3-4 more years.
Warner announced he's looking at retirement in twelve months (although that was probably because he hadn't been in the headlines for a few days)
Smith has plenty of time left.
Starc might resort to the short game in 2 years time.
I'm pretty comfortable if Lyon gets tonked this series and then decides to leave the game, we don't have a lot spin-wise in the shed but I'm sure we can invest hours into one or two. Even still, how good would our test line up look with Maxwell in for Lyon? Usman, Marnus and Head offer variation and then there's Smith for a few overs of legspin.

Todd Murphy is the spinner at the moment seen as a future prospect aswell as Agar and Swepson for the time being.

Also Adam Zampa is set to play for NSW in their Sheffield Shield match against Victoria on Thursday, returning to first class cricket after a three year absence in a bid to make the Australian Test squad for their tour of India.

I'm not sold on Swepson's ability in the longer version, if he couldn't make an impact over in the sub-continent I'm not sure that he can, I'd sooner see Armchair Agar getting a gig before him.

Probably a risky move for Zampa, he brings a fair bit to the table in the short game, I feel that he'll get worked out in the longer version and will shorten his career.

How long did the India test last when we bowled them out for 30 odd?

I find it odd there starting on a Wednesday given the risk it doesn't go far into the weekend.

The two biggest attending days you would think Saturday/Sunday and they may have to offer one of them for free or cheap charge if the test does go that long.

West Indies wont be a large drawing side anyway.. crowds wont be greatly impacted.. Aussies will bat for 2.5 days anyway, then bowl Sat/Sun.

Why not treat his abysmal dismissal with the same distain you would of Head / Carey?

That test match went for 2 days, 1 session and 16 overs, December 17th to 19th.
The whole match went for 207.4 overs.

Oh it was abysmal no doubt about that....i thought it was that blatantly obvious it didn't need mentioning. Plus i dont get disappointed when he gets out poorly.....i have no time for Warner whatsoever. Sooner he's gone the better.

Just thought it looked a deliberate ploy.....give him a short one, he hits it for four. Test him with one out wide while his juices are flowing and sure enough he got him.

Winides have bowled really well in the first 5 overs.

The Windies have bowled well so far in my opinion. They definitely were bowling to a plan with Warner, not sure it was supposed to be that wide but that seemed to be the plan.

So far Seale and Roach have bowled well. They have clear plans in place and it's good to see. I like the look of Joseph, jus to see a giant West Indian bowler coming bounding in is a great site to see.

He was kissed by rose with that dismissal, should've been one bounce and over the cover boundary
