Their list is quite healthy and they under-achieved again this seaosn, their best and worst football is poles apart.
Their list is full of guys from other clubs.
Steele, Membrey, Higgins, Crouch, Hill, Butler, Lienert,Wood, Howard,Jones and add Ryder and Hannerbery.
Irrespective, they have a top 8 list IMO. They have a forward line as potent as anyone's with a lot of variation, it just doesn't fire all together often enough.

Carlton finished 9th with a much better list than St Kilda.

1. Essendon
2. St Kilda
3. Adelaide
4. Hawthorn (current situation which will reveal more in coming years)
5. North Melbourne
6. GC (couldn't manage a piss up at a brewery)
7. Carlton (on field performances & continuous rebuild, expect them to move down the ladder in the next few years)
8. Collingwood (a few misdemeanors and paying other clubs for their players.....on field solid though)
9. West Coast (very unlucky to not be in the top 8...on field rabble, historic issues)
10. Port Adelaide (119 pts and the identity crisis still linger)
11. GWS (crowds of 10k, and continuously lose any decent player they get)
12. Western Bulldogs (trade period was interesting.......potential to move up the ladder in the next few years)
13. Fremantle (they still wear purple and haven't won a premiership).
14. Melbourne (were perennial top 4 club but have done ok in recent years.
15. Richmond (need to get back to the ninthmond days to move up the ladder)
16. Brisbane (can't be embarrassed about something nobody cares about)
17. Sydney
18. Geelong

This. Realistically their list has been bottom six-worthy for ten years, with little fluctuation.Booney wrote:They've misread their own list over and over and over.

The Crows can't even win this.
Geelong seems to always be protected some way or another. The must be doing a Norwood with brown paper bags a flourishing cottage industry.

Apparently the Membership Marketing didn't have Ratten on it but Robert Harvey and a player whose name I can't recall.
