In Bairstow, Crawley, Wood and Leach

In Bairstow (no good), Crawley (no good), Wood (good, should've played last test but obviously couldn't bowl part time offies so got left out) and Leach (no good)\

For us, Boland...no good but will be good enough to take 7fa in this game if given the chance. That's how badly I rate their batting line up.
If Bairstow isn't taking the gloves then you haven't to wonder what the hell he is doing in the team.

Anderson, Wood, Robinson, Stokes and Leech as the attack. Wood being back is a good move, Anderson you always pick as he's pure class. Robinson and Woakes were probably a flip of the coin.

Great rendition of the national anthem, loved seeing the Aussie guys getting right into it, belting it out with smiles on the face

England need to take Starc and Cummins on here otherwise it is just a matter of time before they get out.

Easier said than done lol.
Crawley was trying to play some shots with Starc and Cummins bowling a fuller length then was undone by a delivery that was back of a length.

One presumes Starc is injured, only bowled 3 overs for the session at the beginning, Cummins bowled 10 (got 3 wickets though)

Eng 3/61, Aussies session, Malan out last over before lunch

Does he actually know were the stumps are. If Ian Chappel was batting he would have pulled the stumps up and repositioned them as he did once years ago when someone continually bowled wide. If Starc made the batter play by aiming AT the Wicket in might help
