Parents, your child being out of their comfort zone once in a blue moon is not a bad thing.

My daughters school give the kids the option to present only to the teacher during recess or lunch. How f..ked is that...

Is it just me or have other folk been getting a lot of unsolicited scam calls lately?

Reckon I've answered 5 in the last few weeks. Always from an arbitrary 04 number. Always a pause of a few seconds after answering before an indian/asian accent offers a greeting. Always a story about bank security / internet problems / tax overdue / etc. Often I'll string 'em along for a few minutes for fun but it's becoming tiresome. I had 2 calls from unrecognised numbers yesterday which I didn't bother answering.

I always answer them and start rambling on about the most bizarre things ranging from my time I was trapped on a deserted island to the rash that I've recently developed, they usually hang up when I ask them "what are you wearing?" especially if they are male.

I get weird and/or unknown numbers call me now and again.
I had a missed call from a mobile phone number yesterday which I rang back when I finished work thinking it might be important but got no answer and the number hasn't called me back again.

We're making the transition from google to microsoft today, it hasn't sounded good so far.

My phone has lost all it's contacts and now I can't get any emails on it.

I'm just waiting for my off-sider to finish setting her shit up so she can come and attempt mine then link it to my phone.

I hate change.

Parents who ring and want to buy insurance for their kids

Me: how old is your kid
Them: oh 27...

A) law says we can't do it
B) if your child is old enough to own a car, they should be able to do this themselves - and then they say "oh but they work/go to school etc... Honey - we all work, it's all part of being an adult

At which point do helicopter parents stop hovering and make kids do things for themselves.
Don't play games with a girl who can play 'em better...

Mosquitoes at the moment. Some of them need little flickering lights on their wing tips for when they come into land.
