Dylan Landt and Jason Horne Francis were both sensational
If they play like that all the time they could end up being as good as the player who won the 2012 and 2015 Magarey Medals

F*** :?

Every goal was a grind tonight, felt as though nothing happened easily or cohesively forward of centre unlike the previous fortnight.

The tall timber of Cailotto, Overall, Nobes, Haren and yes even Skinner had minimal impact, the latter not taking a mark.

3 goal kickers isn't going to win you a final. Fitt and Wilkinson couldn't get near it.

Inferior in the air. Only 50ish marks for the game.

Didn't utilise the positive clearances differential.

22 down at 3/4 time, had the first 9 inside 50s but could only muster 4 behinds. 1.7 in the final term :? :?

Horne obviously our best- will watch his career with interest. Sampson best of the rest. Haines did some nice things one-on-one but disposal was iffy at times. O'Neill worked hard, bit sloppy. Schwarz a big second half. Summerton battled well on McBean.

Thanks Joel Cross, been a pleasure to watch. And to personal fav Schwarz if that's curtains for him also.

Terrific atmosphere there tonight. Enjoy next week Bays' fans. Clearly the better team tonight.

I think he's a good chance, based on the match ups for the opposition.

Last lad to debut in a SANFL Prelim went alright. Now up on the Gold Coast.

Yep, fair chance. Partington will come in for Chandler, with Newman being dropped I
can’t see Kuller, Kluske or Scharenberg taking the spot of a backman.

maxy and durds will cut out nobes and fitty, they wont kick a winning score, cuz will float across the backlines where he plays his best footy

18 touches in your final game hardly cause to file a missing persons report...

Fairly accurate summary. I felt SA made similar mistakes to what the Eagles created against the Bays last week in bombing the ball forward. The Bay defense is their strength. The Eagles won with their entry to their smaller player System in attack was missing from SA.

Yep, agree with goddy, a very accurate appraisal of South’s performance. Panthers seemed to struggle in manufacturing their goals, whereas the Bays had more system. South also lacked polish in skills and decision making at various points that resulted in turnovers.

Commiserations, Southies.
