Quite the opposite. To break into the AFL side they need to show something. Reckon Port win comfortably here.

Said that to a few people at the pub today, ideal for Ports AFL players against quality opposition and ideal for Glenelg getting a great hitout before the finals in a game they don't need to win. Should be a damn good crowd.

Agreed, Bays fans looking to end Port's year and finish undefeated, Port fans with the weekend off at AFL level and a chance to end the Bays undefeated run.

Expecting a good crowd.

Expecting many to be ejected from the ground before 3/4 time?

Quality opposition, looking forward to us stepping up to the opportunity to test our game plan against the equivalent of the Suns.

before a week off and then hopefully another week off before....

If this Port team is as good as Gold Coast Suns then I reckon Port will win this by about 75 points
But I dont think so

Last minute of the 2nd qtr summed up our first half:
Wanganeen Milera misses a soda (kicks across the body rather than at target). From resultant kick we’re lazy to set up, Port clear D50 and transition down Grandstand wing. Virgin punches to no one rather than taking the footy, Wanganeen Milera drags opponent to Virg rather than maintains front and centre, Proud drops soda, Newman and Martini get in each other way, as ball comes over back (one goes one Holds as Rowey would say) Georgiades easy goal over the back. Half time siren sounds.

2nd half better in terms of pressure and getting to the footy but we wanted numerous opportunities in the 3rd.

Port deserved the win and can enjoy gardening next week.

We’ll prepare for the 2nd Semi.
Let that be a lesson to you Port, no one beats the Bays five times in a row in a GF and gets away with it!!!

Potentially the first side to go unbeaten since 1914, "Nothing game", no wonder you've won 5 flags in 100 years with that mindset. Pathetic.

 Winning the flag is all that matters, you don't get anything extra for being undefeated. Not making the finals with an AFL list, that's pathetic.

Only one prize matters

Good reality check today with respect to pressure (out tackled and in fed 50), poise (bombing into Clurey - he hasn’t played for us for 9 years) and possessions (1st give lads).

Like the last round of 2019 we got a reminder of what we have to do.

Need to learn from it this week.

18s in GF today.
