I'd like to see a different angle to the one that's been replayed over and over before making a guess.

Dangerfield and Selwood aren't the players they were, obviously, time seems to be catching up on them more than most.

Dangerfield has lost his explosive pace from the contest, he's no longer able to get clear and his ball use has never been good, when it's under pressure it ordinary and Selwoods strength, that was his strength. pales compared to the new generation of bid bodied mids, he no longer makes an impact on the contest. Fascinating watching his form in 2022.

Selwood has been a gun mid for most of his career but not so in the past two years. It's totally unfair by Geelong to expect Selwood 2021 to be Selwood 2011. Nearest contemporaries Kennedy, Cotchin and Pendulbury are also showing sign of wear and tear. Danger cannot play 100 percent mid anymore and should ideally be used as a forward. When you crash and bash you get hurt, just as Nat Fyfe has shown. Every season we are hitting the finals patched up with blokes missing or underdone and it is the fit teams that win the flag. Last year was the best chance but Dusty too good.

We got Cameron for essentially Kelly in the long run but the recruitment of Higgins in particular remains a mystery. Smith, even in his later years looks like being a decent addition. We are a better side with Cameron and Smith in it, not so Higgins. Geelong have committed the same sin as Adelaide and Carlton have done before us. We have overrated our list and we need to eliminate this delusion to genuinely open our flag window. We haven't been playing the kids and they aren't developing as a result. I'd drop serial finals non-performer Menegola for a start and play Narkle in his spot right away. I'd also play a raw defender who has a bit of a leap and some run ahead of Henderson who should have been listed in Port's best. If they decided to close the door on Kolo I wouldn't mind either.

So play the kids, starting THIS weekend and no more veterans please. If it mean's Chris Scott's precious minor round percentage drops, so be it.

regards,

REB

Is there an outcome that suits everyone? Probably 1 week?

I was trying to find the Lachie Neale one for reference but couldn't. Are they similar at all

Nope.
They showed it on one of the sports shows yesterday.

Neale was just trying to get the umpires attention to show him he was bleeding, was nothing sinister in that one. The Greene one on the other hand...... My guess he gets four, but no doubt is worse than Diesel Williams (different times though).

Disregard, just found a different angle and it doesn't help him. Maybe a couple of weeks or a ridiculously high fine.
I love watching Toby play and don't want to miss out seeing him in more finals but it's hard to make a case for him.

They have two angles side on and front. The side on vision, which has been shown less, clearly shows contact.
Let that be a lesson to you Port, no one beats the Bays five times in a row in a GF and gets away with it!!!

Been a few people trying to defend TG on social media and radio saying it wasn’t intentional. Think the AFL would/should be likely to go a step further than that and ask if it was avoidable, which it most certainly was.

At very least it's disrespectful and the rules cater for a suspension under that guideline.

TG is a brilliant player but Greg Williams was as well and he got way more than was appropriate for his contact.
Its 4 weeks for mine.
And GWS should invest in an IQ booster shot for the bloke.
Hearing the club laud his leadership qualities and his standing amongst the group made me cringe.
The blokes a great player, but he's dumb as a box of hammers and fails to show genuine leadership every game he plays.
