Going back in would be as futile as getting involved 20 years ago was.
The Russians couldn't win. So why did the yanks think they could?!
Better get The Enola Gay out of mothballs.

Good friend of my parents just told her that there five year old son passed away earlier this morning from a medical episode

They only had there second child three weeks ago.

Couldn’t comprehend the mixed emotions they would be going through

Daughter / boyfriend issues. Nothing sinister, just a bit of a rough patch, hard watching on and not being able to do anything.

It was 6 years yesterday since my step son lost his life in a car accident where the driver was high on meth, he could've survived but the driver told witnesses he was in the car alone so they didn't call for an ambulance, he didn't even get to see his 21st.

Speaking to my 3 children last night was f******* painful, so much hurt in their voices, it broke me.

I've been pretty much on the wagon for a while now but ended up grabbing a 6 pack and followed up with emptying 2 bottles of red, it wasn't the answer but it allowed me to turn off and get to sleep.

You can never tell your kids you love them too many times.

I never him mate but was captain of EP cricket side when this happened. I know how much the lads loved him and how high regard they held him. I know they still talk and think about him to this day.

Sadly the EP lads are going through that exact same pain tonight after a close friend of theirs and the club passed away in an accident last night.

Yeah, a few of the lads came to my house that day, it is all still a bit of a blur, it was a very, it made it a lot more difficult as his mum and I had broken up not long before.

An old school mates Mum died in her sleep on Sunday night. My Mum and her have been friends for over 40 years, they helped each other through my Mum and Dad's divorce and the loss of her first husband, they were close. I had to ring Mum yesterday and tell her, not what you want to deliver to a 78 year old over the phone but I was at Ardrossan on the way home from Vincent and didn't want to wait until I got home, didn't want anyone else to tell her.

Mum is an only child, in the last 5 years she's lost 2 cousins who were basically her sisters and now a best friend of 40 plus years, she's not coping very well and it's breaks my heart to see it.
