Only a fool would tip against Glenelg.

West by 2 goals.

Stranger things have happened. If the round 1 game had gone for 5 more minutes West would have won that.

However The Bays will win a lacklustre affair by several goals without shifting out of secoond gear.

I've had you as flag faves (refer my 300 or so posts on the matter) from early on. I am a subtle but never the less distinct shade of green.

You, Pseudo and Spargo in the main have admirably tried to deflect your chances in order to cushion yourselves from a loss.

I do not think losing is possible. Winning it from here is the same as the USA beating Botswana in basketball. No other result possible.

You should win all three remaining grades by very comfortable margins in your 101st year. A combined 303 point margin is certainly on the cards.

I have even stopped stirring the pot as it has proven futile given the clubs ability to keep winning.

Congratulations must go to Liam McBean who should kick his 50th goal this week and has at present a 16 goal lead in the Ken Farmer medal. Liam has been very accurate this year, staying closer to the goals as evidenced by his kicking 43 of his 49 goals from the goal square all from free kicks. His cousin Corey Bowen who has paid 33 of those alone said that it was often confusing as sometimes he was on his own and therefore made it difficult grabbing the defender before being awarded a free.

Nice post, starts off complimentary, goes into effusive praise to set the Bays reader at ease and to create that warm and fuzzy collegial feeling that maybe those that reside over Cement Hill and South of Patpa Drive aren't really that bad a folk but, then ends with some subtle backhanders to let us know that some salt has been liberally applied to the post....

Us older Bays fans remember what happened last time a side finished six games in front at the end of the minor round.

The lid is firmly on with respect to the outcome at approx 16;40 hrs on 03/10/2021

Are the COVID restrictions still in place vis-a-vis being seated and wearing maskies?

Masks required to walk around but NOT required when stationary either standing or seated. That’s what I was told today when I rang WAFC asking the same question!

Glenelg 2.1
West 0.2

Both goals for Glenelg kicked off the ground. Glenelg controlled the quarter without putting it on the board.
