Sounds good on the surface, but knowing Carlton's recruiting record over the past 20 years, they've probably signed Lester Ross and Brett Voss

Easy .... Lester Ross is a top bloke :)

Ross would implement a defensive system, something we desperately need.

Not sure what crazy Vossy would do.
Voss coach and Ross head of football department or Ross coach, Voss assistant?

Ross coach, Voss snr assistant.

I don't see why Voss would leave Port to be an assistant at Carlton

Succession plan?

Carlton fan wrote in to SEN this morning basically saying the same thing, was along the lines of "The one thing we should be highly skilled at by now is sacking coaches and we still can't even do that properly"

Hardwick and Clarkson were smart enough to bottom out, gain a heap of top picks, then build a squad for the next 10 years.
Teague electing to sit middle of the bottom 10ish was never going to achieve what the other two have.
Danny Southern telling Plugga he's fat, I'd like to see that!

It is obvious to everyone except the Carlton recruiting staff that the list is not as strong as they believe

Zac Williams played 4 good weeks in the midfield back in 2019, they expect him to be a full time mid...there is a reason gws didn't leave him there

Players I think the recruiting team overrate: Fisher, sps, Plowman (actual dud) , Setterfield (actual dud) , Docherty (get well soon), Williamsom (I don't rate him at all) plus a few others

Outside of Weitering, McKay and Walsh who on the Carlton list makes any of the top 4 sides best 22?

That's how I measure lists, would they ( any given player ) be in a top 4 side at this moment.
If you want to go quickly, go alone.

If you want to go far, go together.

Nick Hind has had a better year than Saad and on about a quarter of his wage.
You don’t pay $800k for a running defender who refuses to defend

I'd persist with SPS maybe even change his role or something, I think he's going to have something offer personally but you probably see a lot more of him than I do
