Full refund, thanks.

Keep an eye on your bank, will be back in a week or two.

FFS.
Was going to over for a weekend when I got the Wildtrak.

$600 just in ferry fees can get effed.

Went to the Flinders Ranges instead for $400 all inclusive.

We took the ol’ Philanderer 3 over from Cape Jervis. Every kid chucked their guts up, bar one.
I distinctly remember the captain saying to one my teachers when we finally made it to KI, “we shouldn’t have gone today…”

I went to pick up my hire car in Darwin city last Wednesday
Day didn’t start well with a hangover and the coffee shop taking 40 mins to give my order
Got to Hertz. Didn’t have my car so said I had to have a downgrade to a grannymobile
After a short discussion about corporate relationships and contractual liability, they gave me a Wildtrak just to get rid of me
My usual chariot is a 350z....
Now I understand why people in big ar$e trucks don’t give a f*** about anybody else on the road.
600kms of absolute fun (although I quickly learnt it doesn’t take a sharp corner like the Z)

I know it sounds mean but after the devastating fires I thought they were trying to attract tourism over there.

I was planning a trip over there but the ferry price scared me off, 3-4 nights accommodation just to get there dents the budget severely.

Absolutely.

Particularly for those of us taking kids over too.

We have a camper trailer, i looked into goin to KI years ago. 2 adults, 2 kids, car, camper... was cheaper for us to fly to the gold coast and do the theme parks, so guess where we went?

400 bucks is more than double what id spend on fuel when we go for a week in the flinders. And that includes 4 wheel driving while we are there.

Its a rediculous cost

Bali is almost cheaper and the kids get somewhat of a cultural experience and all your food drinks, accommodation is going to be a hell of a lot cheaper.
